Twilight Princess
In what looks set to be the best Zelda title across all platforms since Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess brings you closer to the action than ever before.
The use of the wii-mote in this title means that you control Link’s every move. Use the controller as swinging sword as you control the blocks, attacks and power swipes as if it were you fighting for the Kingdom. Aim your bow and arrow, hold and then release like a real archer.
Not only will there be the added involvement, the graphics are another notch up from what we’ve previously seen. We saw amazing screenshots as long as 3 years ago for the new Zelda title when it was expected to be a Gamecube title. It’s come to pass that it is in fact going to be a dual release title, with versions for both the Wii and the Gamecube. The graphical difference between the versions is noticeable but the Gamecube version is just stunning when compared with any previous games.
So which version should I buy you ask? Well, that decision is entirely up to you, however there is one key difference between the two, dexterity. Traditionally Link has been left-handed, and in the Gamecube version tradition holds true. For the Wii however, with the use of the motion sensing controller and the fact the majority of players will be right-handed, the entire Twilight Princess adventure has been flipped horizontally so Link plays as a right-handed hero.
In summary, Twilight Princess has better graphics, better gameplay and a brilliant new storyline. The key to the game though is the introduction of motion sensing into the adventure game. It just adds another dimension and if had sleepless nights during your quest through Ocarina of Time, stock up on coffee as you will be losing plenty more with this brilliant new adventure game.
