Wii Sports

When i first heard of the Wii (or the ’Revolution’ as it was known then) and it’s motion sensor capabilities, i thought baseball, golf and tennis. Ie excpect someone at Nintendo had the same thought, and lowand behold, Wii Sports was born.

Wii Sports will contain Baseball, Golf, Tennis and suprisingly Bowling and Boxing. A plane section was shown at E3 this year but Nintendo has decided not to include that in Wii Sports. Another exciting section of Wii Sports is the Mii’s. These are charachters you customize to look just like their master, you. These ’miis’ are edited in a channel on the wii and then stored on you controller. This means you can take your Mii’s with you when you visit another Wii console owner. The Mii’s will have skill levels aswell which will grow as your skill grows, so you can see how much better you have become.

In Wii baseball you will be holding the Wiimote as if it was a baseball bat and swinging as fast as you can to hit some home-runs. In WiiGolf you will be holding he wii-mote as if it was a golf club hitting holl-in-ones until you’re as good as tiger. In Wii Bowling you raise your hand just like real bowling and swing forward to get as many strikes as you can. In Wii Boxing players will hold the wii controller and nunchuck just like they were real boxing gloves hitting and blocking as much as you can. Wii tennis is perhaps the best of them all. You can have up to 4 people playing simultaeniously running around the pitch until you win the point.

As you can see, wii sports is going to be perhaps the greates bundled software ever,i can’t wait!!
