Mario Kart DS
Mario Kart is back with a new platform and new features. After the fairly average Mario Kart Double Dash, fans have been waiting for something new and exciting to bite into and Mario Kart DS is exactly that. With old race tracks mixed among some exciting new ones, the pure mobility of the game and of course the WiFI functionality (the first of the kind) this is truly a must-have for DS owners.
One of the great features about Mario Kart DS is the introduction of some old courses into the game, right back from the SNES version. There are also some tricky new courses on the game, and as usual, playing through the game unlocks increasingly more difficult courses. The final track is the well known Rainbow Road, but unlike the N64 version, it does not take half an hour to complete the track.
There are also some great new characters added to the traditional line-up. There are the ever-presents like Luigi, Peach and Wario but there is also a few new characters which can be unlocked later in the game. As you progress through the game, new characters and new karts become available to improve your racing skills and ultimately lead you to 150CC Mirror Mode crown which symbolizes the completion of the game, or so you think.
