DS Sales Still Soaring
Such is the appeal and demand of the sleek DS Lite in Japan, that retailers across the country are unable to keep their shelves full, with new stock of the handheld console selling out almost instantly. This is a real testament to Nintendo of Japan and is a surefire sign of good things to come with the Nintendo Wii.
If the global demand for the Wii is anything like forecast, and similar to the DS Lite sales in Japan, it could be a long wait for all Wii-wanters, even though the 2006 supply is set to ship 4 million consoles, 2 million more than the PS3.
