Sony delays European PS3 release
Sony has just announced that the European release of their upcoming PS3 console has been put back until March due to a major lack of Blu-ray hardware. The news, reported by CNBC within the last hour, is sure to horrify many european gamers, but several others may have seen this coming a long way off.
For the Nintendo Wii this has good implications. Many of the PS3 users might now find themselves purchasing a Wii to bide the time until the release of the PS3 console and should help Nintendo earn a big, if not majority market share. Although we can’t yet get overly excited as we still don’t know the official release of the Wii.
