Disney focusing on Wii
The interactive entertainment department at Disney, Buena Vista Games, has announced that it has formed a new development studio. Fall Line Studio, which is based in Salt Lake City, will focus on designing games involving Disney movies, television programs and the famous Disney character’s like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.
The studio will be exclusively for developing Nintendo games, in an effort to expand Disney’s market share across the Nintendo consoles like the DS and the upcoming Wii. While Buena Vista Games is the third foremost developer for the GBA, this new venture aims to carry this success to the newer Nintendo console’s and bring Disney to the mainstream
